Lunch and Learn: The American Dream

  • YWCA Asheville 185 South French Broad Avenue Asheville, NC, 28801 United States (map)

The idea of the American Dream is often seen as something available to everyone, but racial inequalities show a different story. This Racial Justice Challenge topic examines how systemic racism impacts access to the American Dream for people of color, and examines how race and socio-economic status intersect with the values behind the American Dream.

Join us on Tuesday, April 29, at noon for an in-person, lunch and learn discussion of the American Dream, and engage with what the American Dream can be through a lens of racial justice.
