Beyond Walls Film Screening at the Grail Moviehouse

  • Grail Moviehouse 17 Foundy Street Asheville, NC, 28801 United States (map)

The YWCA, together with the Racial Justice Coalition and Building Bridges, will host a free screening and discussion of the film Beyond Walls, a series of five short documentary films about prison industrial complex abolition. These documentaries were produced by Working Films, a company based in Wilmington, NC, that aims to use documentaries to advance social justice and environmental protection.

For those who want to continue building towards a world without prisons and police, there will be resources available on how to get involved and take action in the community, as well as organizations who can answer questions.

This event at the Grail Moviehouse is free, but space is limited - so that we know how many to expect, please RSVP here.
