This 12-week course will introduce basic Tai Chi principles that are foundational to all Tai Chi movements. We will work in the Sun Style form developed by Paul Lam, MD. This specific form of Tai Chi Form is endorsed by the CDC and the Arthritis Foundation and it has shown to be effective in decreasing pain, stiffness, and risk for falls while improving balance, strength, and cognitive focus, and more. Tai Chi is often referred to as a 'moving meditation' as it grounds the practitioner while enhancing the mind-body connection.
