YWCA Community Advisory Committee

YWCA is excited to be forming a Community Advisory Committee that will act as a liaison between the YWCA and the community we serve, and will build the leadership and civic engagement capacity of community members. The focus of this committee will be to ensure clear and timely communication that allows for community members to voice their thoughts  about programs, issues and decisions being made, make recommendations and/or provide key information and garner community feedback. Each representative will give input concerning how we can better serve the community with our programs and outreach that we offer. The advisory committee, in collaboration with the YWCA, plays an important public relations role and provides a voice for the community.The Community Advisory Committee will be formed after the new year.
